New Professor Hulk Merchandise Arrives for Fans Ahead of Mark Ruffalo Return

Merchandise and screen tie-ins will now place Professor Hulk at the center of summer MCU marketing for collectors and moviegoers. 10: 00 a. m. ET — Hasbro revealed its redesigned Professor Hulk figure at Toy Fair 2026, a move timed to the MCU return of Mark Ruffalo and his Hulk.

Hasbro’s Professor Hulk Figure Details and Summer 2026 Release

Collectors will be able to preorder the new Marvel Legends Professor Hulk beginning March 11, with the figure due for release in Summer 2026 and shown at Toy Fair 2026 at a six-inch scale. The timing puts the product squarely in the lead-up to the summer theatrical schedule linked to MCU releases.

The new statue portrays Professor Hulk wearing red cargo pants and a black tank, and it comes with alternate heads showing both an angry Hulk and a smart Hulk persona. Hasbro packaged the figure with seven accessories, among them alternate Hulk hands, a blaster, glasses, and the pink bunny slippers that tie back to the comics.

Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk Linked to Spider-Man: Brand New Day Timing

The figure’s Summer 2026 window aligns with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, starring Tom Holland and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. That alignment has led fans to expect Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk to appear in that film, and the merchandise release creates a visible marketing ripple ahead of opening weekend.

Mark Ruffalo last appeared on-screen as Hulk in 2022’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where he was shown in a smart Hulk form first established in Avengers: Endgame. Rumors discussed in genre coverage suggest Savage Hulk may make an appearance in the new Spider-Man film, which would mark a tonal shift if Banner reverts from the controlled smart Hulk displayed in recent MCU projects.

Netflix’s All the Light We Cannot See Highlights Mark Ruffalo’s Performance

Separately this year, Netflix released a four-part World War II miniseries adaptation of All the Light We Cannot See that features Mark Ruffalo in the role of Daniel LeBlanc, a locksmith at the National Museum of History in Paris who secretly works with the resistance. The series frames Daniel’s efforts to protect artifacts as Nazi forces advance, and Ruffalo’s portrayal was singled out as a central emotional anchor for the show.

The miniseries adaptation drew mixed views on direction but noted elements include a score by James Newton Howard and a lead performance from Aria Mia Loberti as Marie-Laure, with Louis Hofmann as Werner Pfennig. The underlying novel won the Pulitzer Prize for literature, and the series’ casting choices, including the use of a blind actress for Marie-Laure, were highlighted as key to the adaptation’s authenticity.

Hasbro has tied the new Professor Hulk design to classic comic visuals: the figure is directly based on a look from The Incredible Hulk #390, where the slippers first appear, while an earlier issue in the run showed Hulk in a maroon V-neck shirt. The on-screen MCU smart Hulk shares a glasses detail with the figure but typically wears casual clothing rather than combat gear.

Pre-orders for the Professor Hulk figure begin March 11 and the item is slated to ship in Summer 2026. If pre-orders open on March 11, the figures should reach retail and collectors by Summer 2026, giving fans merchandising and on-screen appearances to coincide with the July 31, 2026 film release.
