Blue Mountain: Grant County Airport To Host Regional Transportation Meeting

The Grant County Regional Airport will host a regional transportation meeting on March 19, a notice in the Blue Mountain Eagle said. The session is scheduled from 10 a. m. to noon Pacific Time (1: 00 pm ET to 3: 00 pm ET) and is open to the public, with time set aside for public comments; a virtual attendance option will be available through Microsoft Teams. Blue Mountain Meeting Details

The meeting will take place at the Grant County Regional Airport, located at 72000 Airport Road in John Day. The agenda includes updates on state, county and city transportation projects and other regional transportation topics. A link to join the virtual meeting is included in the public meeting agenda.

Who Will Attend And What’s On The Agenda

The Southeast Area Commission on Transportation will convene for the meeting. The commission is made up of community leaders and other partners from Malheur, Grant and Harney counties and includes representatives from the Burns-Paiute Tribes. The Area Commission on Transportation is an advisory body chartered by the Oregon Transportation Commission to address all aspects of transportation.
