Kendall Jenner Headlines The Runway-Set Ad

The spot features Kendall Jenner and Simone Ashley, both ambassadors for L’Oréal Paris, and stages a playful re-creation of the Runway magazine office from The Devil Wears Prada. In the commercial, Jenner is mistaken for “the new girl” by a Runway staffer, who offers her Colour Riche lipstick and Extensionist mascara to make herself “presentable” before Ashley’s assistant intervenes. “Spending the day at the Runway office was honestly so much fun, ” Jenner said. “I got to live my dream walking past that iconic reception, and what made it even more special was getting to experience it alongside my L’Oréal Paris family. I can’t wait for everyone to see it. “

When And Where To Watch The Oscars Spot

The commercial will debut during the Academy Awards broadcast on Mar. 15 at 7: 00 pm ET on broadcast and streaming platforms. Viewers will be able to see the ad as part of the Oscars programming and can also find it on streaming channels associated with the ceremony. The L’Oréal Paris activation is the first installment of a broader partnership tied to the film.

Brand Campaigns And Film Tie-Ins Ahead Of The Movie

L’Oréal Paris said the collaboration will extend through the film’s release with a series of activations that aim to highlight the intersection of beauty and entertainment. “Teaming up with The Devil Wears Prada 2 lets us show up in a moment that defines beauty and pop culture, and at a scale that matches the legacy of the film, ” L’Oréal Paris brand president Laura Branik said. “Launching this collaboration on Oscars night, with a spot that pays homage to the story and brings together our spokeswomen Kendall Jenner and Simone Ashley, is a meaningful way to reinforce what L’Oréal Paris stands for: celebrating women who set the standard, on screen and in real life. “

Separately, TRESemmé — which is a brand partner to The Devil Wears Prada 2 — is rolling out its A-LIST Collection with consumer activations. The A-LIST Studio by TRESemmé will appear at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre on Mar. 14 and 15, offering complimentary hair consultations and styling appointments as well as walk-ins. Guests can choose from three signature styles — the A-LIST Slick Back, the A-LIST Voluminous Waves and the A-LIST Silky Straight — and receive exclusive gifts including a free A-LIST styling product and a personalized hair accessory.

The A-LIST Collection comprises six products: the Lacquer Shine Spray for weightless luminosity and frizz control; a Bonding Oil formulated with sunflower and castor oils; an Instant Fix Styling Stick with a roll-up applicator for flyaways; Dry Texturing Spray for texture and volume; a Signature Hair Fragrance scented with golden vanilla and sandalwood; and a Workable Hairspray offering flexible hold without stiffness.

Paige DeSorbo, who has been named TRESemmé’s “Chief A-List Officer, ” also appears in a short film campaign tied to the A-LIST line. That spot was inspired by The Devil Wears Prada 2 and features designer Christian Siriano in a runway sequence.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is scheduled for a nationwide release on May 1, 2026, and L’Oréal Paris plans to continue its beauty activations through the film’s rollout while audiences can first catch the Oscars spot on Mar. 15 at 7: 00 pm ET.
