Sûreté du Québec said the collision occurred at about 11: 00 am ET when the vehicle left the roadway, hit a lamppost and ended in the centre median of Highway 20. The incident closed part of the highway at kilometre 105 near Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil before authorities reopened the route later in the day.
Injuries, Hospital Status and Official Comments
All three occupants were taken to hospital. Sûreté du Québec identified the occupants as an adult woman driver and two teenage girls. One teen was initially thought to have sustained life-threatening injuries, but her condition stabilized. The other two people were treated for minor injuries.

The crash temporarily closed a section of Highway 20 at kilometre 105; the highway has since been reopened.
